I observe that, when selecting MIDI loolps inside the MediaBay, the “preview” / prelisten is often incorrect.
For a huge part of the MIDI loops I have, the number of bars shown in the preview window is incorrect (I think it shows one to much), and the playback position then “jumps” and the audio “stumbles” during playback.
One example is “Palm Islands - Verse 2” of “Laser Beams” that comes with Cubase. In the “Bar Count” Column, it shows “5”, and also in the preview, 5 bars are shown, but while playing bar 4, the playback position marker suddendly jumps to bar 5. If you drag the MIDI to a MIDI or Instrument track you see that it only has 4 bars.
Anybody else seeing this issue? Any ideas how to fix this?
Hm, this Palm Islands was a bad example. There, it really seems to be only a graphical issue. But I have other MIDI loops where the sound isn’t played back correctly.
One other pattern in Laser Beams I found is “Belladonna - Intro” - this is an 8 bar long pattern that is played only ~7 bars.
I have no idea what triggers this issue - a lot of patterns are played correctly but some “random” ones show the issue
So it’s not only a graphical glitch. I want to add “issue” to the topic - how can I do this? I am not able to change the headline.
