Hello, I have a problem with my Roland FA06 keyboard and Cubase 12 Pro. The keyboard is connected via USB 2.0 cable directly to the computer. When I have a MIDI track open that has drums on it and I record a closed hihat every sixteenth note, it works with no problem on playback. As soon as I add any other MIDI track from the FA06, whether it’s a bass, pad or whatever, the moment I turn on playback and two tracks are playing, when the chord changes or with the loop on, the hihats don’t play evenly when the chord changes or when the tracks play from the beginning and there’s a delay . It’s as if the Roland can’t handle two tracks for a moment and you can hear a kind of slowdown… What can be done about it ? Is it possible to change something in Cubase to set this ? Roland has its tempo set and it is not controlled from Cubase. Of course it is the same in a given project. I don’t think it is the fault of the USB 2.0 port, because this port is fast enough to embrace several MIDI tracks. Maybe a connection via MIDI would make a difference…
I changed the USB port to 3.1 and in the system settings of the ROLAND FA06 the USB driver from Generic (MIDI) to VENDOR (MIDI + AUDIO) and it is better.
