Midi real time input and Playback Quantize

Happy New Year Everybody,

I did put in some note with the record function and the Midi Keyboard.
The Notes look pretty good, BUT the playback is all over the place, obviously, because I didn’t play it totally precisely.

Is there an option to quantize the Playback?

Otherwise it’s not all too much fun to listen to the Score.

Best Regards

Ingo

There are different options that you could try. Have your read carefully the History version of Dorico Pro 2.2, pp.4-7?

I am too finding no possibilty to quantize recorded midi. As I understand (and tried), all of the quantize options mentioned in the pdf affect only notation, not the way it’s played back. So if you played sloppy, it will sound sloppy.

Am I missing something?

You’re missing something.

Hello!
I have the same problem, and the link you provide leads me to the frontpage of the forum.
Could you possibly help- once again?
Thank you.
