MIDI regions dissapear after recording

See above video. When I record MIDI on either a MIDI or instrument track Cubase it receives the MIDI input and I see a MIDI region appear with the notes but when I hit stop the region disappears, save for a small sliver of a region at the start point.

Figured it out, it was due to the locator at the top. Apologies, Pro Tools user, new to Cubase.

Glad you figured it out. And to assist a little bit into sliding into the the Cubase world: We call them midi regions “MIDI Parts”.
And since Steinberg invented these blocks in an arrangment that is the correct name and all other DAWs do it wrong.

If you’ve been around the world… and your heart beats like a drum…
