I would not go that far. @Martin.Jirsak really showed me with his scripts, that there are more and better solutions as MCU has. Depending of the controller of course. I dont think that the midi-remote is based on (old) generic remote code. I have seen things, that are WAY more advanced then the generic remote. At least for my controller.

There is a remote-sdk that is used to build MCU and many other controllers. It is in C or C++. But it is not for Steinberg customers it is for their partners and require NDA’s etc.

Out of sync should not happen. This would be a fatal error for ANY case and ANY controller.
Such critical stuff, should not be TOGGLE dependent… IMHO.

I did even try that, but C or C++ is way out of my scope.
