Hi, is there a way to run the midi remote console outside of cubase in standalone?
I would like to install this or another programe that can run same scripts on a laptop that does not have Cubase so I can play and learn away from the studio computer.

Hi you - no, this is not possible. But: you can install and run cubase on more than one computer. With the new dongle-free copy protection this is as simple as it can get.
Hi, yeah I knew I could do that, however I wanted to install on a works laptop to mess around with on breaks etc. I cant install Cubase but could have probably installed a small program.
Do you know if its possible to open the template I have already created using the midi remote function and be able to see all of the controls I already created. Then edit the functions etc and save again?
