When starting N14 without a midi controller being connected or turned off the midi remote script still is being loaded - BUT WITH EMPTY ASSIGNMENTS! Then the assignment files are being overwritten with empty assignments! This means you would have to remap your midi device again and again and again if you hadn’t backed up the assignment files (documents - Steinberg - Nuendo - Midi Remote - User Settings). In N13 a remote script is not being loaded if the device is not connected or turned off but for whatever reason this was changed in N14. I wonder why i don’t read any further reports on this or if i am doing something wrong? I don’t have all my midi devices connected all the time but i guess i’m not the only person on the planet doing so.
All in all N14 is completely unusable to me.
