The MIDI Remote Manager tab is missing from the lower zone. Selecting it from the “Studio” Menu brings up the window but clicking “Add Surface” only opens the lower zone displaying whatever was last in that zone (Mixer, Sampler, etc).
Clicking “Open MIDI Remote MApping Assistant” in the top right of the screen also opens the lower zone but displaying the last displayed view.
