The problem was very complex and certainly very difficult to solve, which is why I don’t think there will be an update for Cubase 14. I imagine it would be very time-consuming to incorporate all these changes into Cubase 14. Besides, Steinberg probably needs all its resources for Nuendo 15 right now.
Since Cubase 15.0.10, the problem has been fixed if you reset your system as far as possible and only use templates and projects created from 15.0.10 onwards. In addition, you must not install any Windows updates that add new MIDI extensions to the system, because Microsoft still produces a lot of errors in this area, which then also lead to errors in Cubase. So, because of Microsoft, Steinberg still has to constantly check what’s going on with MIDI; this is another reason why it would be unreasonable for Steinberg to create another update for Cubase 14.

by the way…
Cubase 15 offers many new features, so it’s worth updating now rather than waiting until summer. Why wait until summer anyway?
