Yes, this is a known bug of 13.0.50.
This is why Steinberg added a way to roll-back. You can find the 13.0.41 release in the download web page.
I rolled-back.
Search for other “midi remote” threads.
Where is it possible to download Cubase 13.0.41 ?
This is an existential question for hundreds of users who work with MIDI Remote and the FaderPort and urgently need to go back from Cubase 13.0.50 to Cubase 13.0.41. They can’t produce any more. There is not enough time to find the cause where Steinberg has broken its own code.
If I run C12.0.70, my AI knob works perfectly and if I run C13.0.50 it works bad, with the same midi remote setup. Check the link posted by @LluisV previously, it seems that the last release has broken the AI knob.
this may be the case with midi remote scripts that come with Cubase. If you add a midi remote script it is added in the MIDI Remote/Local folder. The ones that come with Cubase are in the MIDI Remote/Public.
I deleted the Cubase preferences under ~Library/Preferences and delete the Steinberg folder in Documents.
Opened Cubase 13.0.5 and the problem persists.
If I close and reopen the project all is well and the controller shows normally.
If I close Cubase and reopen it and then open the proj…
CKB, I assume you are also testing the next update of the fp-wizard script with Cubase 14. Am I right? I hope there are no problems with that.
