MIDI remote support for keyboard, mouse, and game controllers

It would be cool if the MIDI remote could support keyboard, mouse, and game controllers like Xbox controllers.
This would transform these devices into MIDI devices… I notice there is already some freeware Xbox game controllers driver available, but it would be sweet if Steinberg had a native driver for them..

Would it be practical? I don’t know, but I think it would be helpful for when no MIDI controllers are available.

Having an extra Xbox controller would allow for control of XY parameters, or set it up as a transport controller.

edit: and xbox controllers already have a 1/8 audio jack, so they are already set up to act as a soundcard (via ASIO4ALL or FLEXAUDIO drivers)

If you are on a Windows machine, you can use AutoHotKey together with this library to have any input device, such as a game controller, mouse or keyboard, send MIDI messages.
