Using Touch OSC (on an iPad) with the ‘Legacy Generic Remote’ workes flawless already for over 10 years. Now there is a new function ‘Midi remote’, …
Question:
The tick ‘Transmit to Hardware’ (in edit mode - properties) also sends all MIDI data thru while moving faders in Touch OSC … That should not be happening . My iPad goes crazy with all the data it gets back via MIDI thru. I tried deactivating ‘Prefs - MIDI thru’, without any effect.
It’s not an option to untick ‘Transmit to Hardware’ because then I get no feedback when I move faders in the cubase mixer. To be clear: in ‘Generic Remote’ everything is ok.
I Just would like to know, if there have been any changes?
I still got the same problem described here. Midi should not be resend, when its received from the controller. Generic Remote works correctly, Midi Remote does not.
In Nuendo 14, this doesn’t seem to be fixed. I have to turn off Transmit to Hardware to stop the shaky behavior, where the data is looping back to the controller in real time. While this stops the shakiness, the problem is then if using Absolute, if I change the value in software, it doesn’t match on the controller. Only solution now is to use Relative Offset, so you don’t see values on the controller.
