MIDI selector greyed out

Hello Cubase users
I’m trying to get one MIDI track (currently set to 5) to play back on two MIDI channels. (Channels 5 & 6). I’ve done this before. But for some reason, I can’t route channel 6 to channel 5 coz it’s greyed out. Does anyone know why? Here’s a pic.

Hi,

Switch to the MIDI tab in HALion Sonic SE. Here set the MIDI Channel 5 on the slot 6.

If the MIDI channels on the MIDI tab seem ‘locked’ then your HSE instance is likely in ‘General MIDI mode’.

See the OPTIONS tab and disable General MIDI. Now you can independently assign slots to any MIDI channel you like.
