Thanks to some user on this forum, whose name I unfortunately forgot, we have a much simpler, more performant, and less bug prone version. It looks like this:

Download:
NoteScaleMacros v2.zip (12.9 KB)

Install:

  1. Move Note Scale Macros.xml to
    C:\Users\your-username\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase 14_64\Presets\KeyCommands
  2. Move Note Scale folder to
    C:\Users\your-username\Documents\Steinberg\Cubase\User Presets\Logical Edit\
  3. Run Cubase/Nuendo, go to Edit->Key Commands and load the Note Scale Macros preset. New macros should appear in the Macros list, set your hotkeys there and test it.
  4. If you first load your own key command preset, then load the Note Scale Macros preset, and finally re-save everything as your own preset, the macros will most likely be included in it.
