Midi sustain messages not playing back

Hi there,

having some midi issues Using Cubase A1 14,

I am not able to here sustain pedal messages on play back after recording to cubase from my electric piano, I see a CC 64 sustain track after recording which shows the pedal being activated and preferences, midi filter setting seem to be correct from my knowledge.

I dont seem to have the same issue if I import a song recorded from my piano into cubase as am able to here the song played back with sustain.

Hi and welcome to the forum,

Double-check the Preferences > MIDI > MIDI Filter, please. By default only the SysEx filter is enabled on Record and Thru.

Hi,

This is correct. Ensure, you are not using any Remote Devices (Mackie Control, MIDI Remote), or ensure, their MIDI Input is not set to All MIDI Inputs or the MIDI Keyboard Input, please.

Also double-check the MIDI Input of all Quick Controls, please.
