I was replacing some midi tracks with Halion instruments, but I liked the sound I had of the Yamaha TX81z playing on a track so I set up how I thought I’d record it. The audio of the TX81z is going into my mixer on channel 9, I see that activity there, and it is labelled so. I creat the audio track, have the midi playing and set to record and put the monito on and set the input to stereo 8 of the mixer. There is only a glimmer of a signal and if I record, it is a flat line.
Set it to mono 9. If that doesn’t exist you can create it in audio connections/inputs.
Because you created a mono track it won’t take both channels of the stereo input. And if you made a stereo track it would only be on the right channel.
8 was a mis-type, but creating a mono set to 9 worked, thanks.
