So for example set up a large template with for example many Kontakt VSTi
Connect some midi tracks to these VSTi. Or for example 1 midi track with midi sends to several Vsti.
Save as template.
At some point when enabling the project the midi tracks will be connected to wrong VSTi.
There is a workaround i tried where you set up the midi tracks without connecting to anything/save trmplate/close/open/connect midi tracks/save.
So in Cubase 10… In 2019 this is still an issue:
