Here’s the scenario:
Within a Cubase session and I have lots of MIDI tracks connected to external gear. When I turn off that external gear, the input / output connections are automatically changed to “Not Connected”, which means that I have to re-connect it manually when I turn the external gear on again.
Is there any way to have the software simply change the input and output to “Missing …” just like when you open a session that was connected to the device before the session was closed? This way, when I turn on that external gear again, it will automatically connect.
This would make things much easier.
