Mismatch of flats and sharps in Chord Trackc

As you will see below Cubase 15 is displaying a mismatch of flats and sharps in quite an annoying way. We just don’t think this way as musicians! Its showing Ebm9 then G#m7 followed by Db7/9 for example below. Makes me crazy, I can’t think this way.

I followed link that said use Enharmonics from Chord Track but i already have this checked off. See below I pasted a) screen shot of chord track and b) screen shot of preferences. Can anyone help?

You are talking about Chord Track and the topic is about Key Editor. Chord Track has Enharmonic Shift option per chord which is set to Auto by default and, as you realised, it doesn’t work quite well. Luckily, the fix is simple. Select a chord and manually set its Enharmonic Shift to sharp or flat in the Info Lane.

The option to follow enharmonic spelling from Chord Track is about note names in the Key Editor. When the option is checked, Key Editor will display note names according to current chord from the Chord Track and it works mostly fine.

Yes, so I have moved the topic and re-titled it.

Oh this is brilliant! I have been wanting this answer for years! So kind of you!

I found this hard to find in Cubase all these years so, if you don’t mind, I am going to add a screenshot on this topic for all others to see. Greatly appreciated!
