The Bravura font does not appear in the list of Music fonts. I get other fonts like finale Broadway and Leland, but Bravura is always missing. I’ve removed any app that might mess with fonts, but who knows what lurks behind these apps. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled. What are my next steps?
Have you manually installed Bravura on your iPad through some other means? If you’ve attempted to install a font using a third-party app or a font profile, that can interfere with the correct operation of the fonts within Dorico.
Thanks for the suggestions. Bravura is not installed under Fonts > My Fonts or any other font management app. But to be thorough I removed all fonts found under My Fonts, so that only system fonts remain. I then uninstalled Dorico, restarted the iPad, and reinstalled Dorico. Same result: Bravura is absent from the Music Fonts list.
What next step might we try?
I still need help; tried everything related to fonts that I can find. Thank you.
You’re up to date on the OS?
Can you remove the “My Fonts” app altogether?
Suggestions? I’ve tried every combination of rebooting and reinstalling, with no success.
Do you have Cubasis or Logic installed?
I’m clutching at straws. The font is bundled inside the app, and should be available to the app itself. There’s nothing to configure or mess about with.
Can you create a diagnostic report (from the menu in the top right corner, when you have a document open) and load it here?
I have a few synth apps installed, but no DAW. I’ve attached the diagnostic.
Dorico Diagnostics.zip (49.3 KB)
I am on iPadOS 18.7.3
If I go to General>Fonts, I have two categories only, “System Fonts” and “My Fonts”:
“System Fonts” does not show Bravura, and “My Fonts” does not show any fonts at all.
So looking at these places does not help in your case.
I have Dorico for iPad installed and working (with Bravura as Music Font).
Did we learn anything from the diagnostics file (uploaded Jan 31)?
Has anyone looked at the diagnostic that I uploaded?
