I’m using iPad Pro (12.9-inch)(5th generation), software Version 15.3.1, Capacity 256 GB, Available 33 GB.
I absolutely love Dorico for iPad. The tutorials are very informative. The staff is both creative and helpful. And the community is great.
I’ve used Dorico for iPad for about 1.5 years and am just started using Version 2.1.0.1029.
I need help with several things.
- The hamburger in upper right corner is missing.
- The redo button and share button are also missing.
- The icon that slides the right panel open is missing. (Left and bottom buttons are still showing and operational.)
Offloading and then restoring the App did not correct the problems.
I hope someone can help so I can enjoy music again. I’m not a techie.
Thanks

Are you in “portrait” or “landscape” mode? Dorico works better when your iPad is horizontal.
Landscape, horizontal.

Maybes this will help?

Oh yeah, the hamburger and redo aren’t on mine either. I guess I hadn’t noticed. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in.

Yes I had the same problem. Essentially in portrait mode the Setup/Write/Engrave/Play buttons need to become a popup list and that then allows room for the hamburger in top right.
I found just rotating to landscape and then back to portrait solves the problem although it is a bug that needs correcting.
Yes, for the time being you should find that simply rotating your device to portrait and then back again to landscape is sufficient to take care of this problem.

Hello Tim,
Sorry I couldn’t get back to you earlier today.
Thank you for pointing me to the forums. That was good advice.

These same buttons are not visible again. Rotating the screen does nothing.
Feels like I possibly locked it somehow.
Have you locked your iPad’s display rotation? If so, you can unlock it via Control Center:

Thank you, again.

Thanks! I have been puzzled and hindered by this “absence” for months now and could’t find an answer anywhere.
