Missing Channels in Mixer? Or is it design?

I am in a revision process with Cubase 15v (PC), have not really learnt the program since Cubase 5!
I am constructing an orchestral template and channels seem to go missing in the mixer. At the moment, I have only Woodwind tracks enabled, plus a suite of Group and FX tracks.
For some reason I am finding tracks go missing in the Mixer (f3 or lower zone).
The issue seems to be partially linked to the channel width, but on many occasions I can’t get all channels to show.
In the pic below you can see that there are ten Woodwind Channels (dark green), in the Inspector, but only 7 showing in the mixer. ???
Surely the mixer should just scroll and never ever, miss channels?
BTW everythiing is visible in the visibility view.

Is this a setting, Is it an issue?

Any help please?

Can someone try this quick test please

1] Find a Project which has a lot of tracks - 30+

2] Max out on track width in the mixer. Use the MIxer’s Zoom Palette.

Do tracks go missing from the mixers?

It looks like you are using (vertical) zones. The tracks in the red square would be in the middle zone. If you move the navigation bar at the bottom under the tracks they should scroll in and out of view.
In the left pane in the picture, where at the top it says “visibility”: go to the bottom of that pane where it says “zones”. See if you have grouped tracks to left, center and right zones respectively. Tracks in the center move left/right when you use that horizontal navigation bar I mentioned, and left and right zone tracks stay put.

Thank you MattiasNYC for a considered reply. I will take a look.

Yes I was using Zones, basically I want to keep my 5.1 output channel and groups and fx and VCAs (not yet written) on the RHS and keep the instruments on the left. That’s the aim. I did not know that the left and right Zones do not scroll. Still learning the mixer, it’s impressive.
