Hi there,
when you install the HALion 4.x, VST Instrument Sets (Triebwerk, Hynotice Dance etc.), HALion Sonic and the updates you always need to choose “Install for anyone that uses the computer”.
If you missed this once, it could happen that you do not have access to all Flexphraser Presets, Step Modulator or FX Presets that are available in HALion or in HALion Sonic.
Solution:
There are two possible locations in Windows for the sub-presets, so just copy/paste them to both (hidden*) locations:
C:\Users[Username]\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\HALion\Sub Presets
and/or:
C:\ProgramData\Steinberg\HALion\Sub Presets
So take a look where all the presets are and copy the whole “Sub Presets” Folder (with all sub-folders) to the other location and if asked just overwrite them.

To access it, please open the Windows Explorer (Windows key + E) and follow these steps:
Enter “%appdata%\Steinberg” and/or “%ProgramData%\Steinberg” (without the quotation marks) in the address bar of the Windows Explorer and press “Enter”. This lists all available preference folders for Steinberg applications.
