And when I close it, it tells me: “This template provides a solid foundation for creating a lo-fi hip hop track. To get started, you’ll need the following content packs (available via the Steinberg Download Assistant):
• Groove Agent SE
• HALion Sonic and Sonic Selection”
Not sure how it’s missing…thought I did the install correctly…Any help is greatly appreciated!
That is because the file isn’t really a file in a directory on the computer but in a .vstsound file which is a container format from Steinberg for their samples and sounds, and those are only referenced by an ID (as seen in the screenshot), so it is quite impossible to find out which library one needs to install to get access to that sample (at least I don’t know a way…)
I was just starting a new project to try and get use to Cubase Elements through the trial version before I possibly commit to purchasing it. I have not done anything with the Pro version at all I just downloaded the Cubase 15 Elements Trial version and have just run into these problems.
As the OP wrote in the first post, it is the “Lofi HipHop” template that comes with Cubase. I also opened it and got the same error (because I don’t have that library installed). The project notes in the template say that you need “Groove Agent SE” and “Halion Sonic” installed, but they don’t mention the Loopmash Content. Probably just an oversight, but can of course be irritating for someone who is new to the Software.
Maybe Cubase isn’t for me after all. I keep trying to get everything installed and then it still tells me that they need to be loaded. I have loaded the Groove Agent and Halion Sonic and still get the message that they need to be loaded…
