Missing Letters on Buss Buttons

Recently, Cubase 8 has stopped displaying the Mute, Solo, Edit etc letters (M, S, E etc) on the buttons on the individual busses of all my projects. I’ve attached a screenshot to show you what I mean. I’ve tried reinstalling Cubase but to no avail. Does anyone know what might be going on here?

These letters will disappear when you get to a certain reduced zoom level in the mixconsole. Maybe you can just zoom in slightly and they will return.
