Yes, but it’s not happy news. It was was an “Easter Egg” – an unlisted, partially hidden feature – and it was enabled in error.
Another weird decision by Steinberg.
This feature is not important enough to make C.E users want to upgrade. It makes no sense to remove it.
I’m sure SB sees it as part of the value of the higher priced programs.
I felt your pain a while back – 2015, I think, a feature I lusted after in Nuendo (Video Follows Edit Mode) was accidentally activated in Cubase. When they figured out what happened they deactivated it. But a few years later, with minimal fanfare it was granted to Cubase users.
So maybe there’s hope! (or maybe not)
