Windows 11. Dorico 6.0 update.
I have just installed the new update and am being told the the Marching Percusion Basics template is missing or cannot be found. I tried a complete reinstall via the Download Manager but this did not help!! My old version of Dorico Pro 5.1 is still installed. Conflict ?
If you launch the Steinberg Library Manager, does Marching Percussion Basics show up there?
The Library Assistant contains Marching Percussion Basics but my Downloads seem to lack a number of ticks:
And single-clicking on the green button in question does nothing?
A reboot does not help, then return to that page to check installs?
John,
Is there a reason you are not clicking the “Install All” button? Your screen shot of the download manager clearly shows several items not installed yet - including the marching percussion sounds.
Any green bar row without a check has not been installed… either click on “Install All” or on all of the “Install” buttons one at a time.
I decided that the easiest solution was to uninstall and reinstall a clean version. This worked! Part of the problem may have been that the first installation was to a extra disk. drive E:/ in my case. The program now runs on C:/ without any obvious glitches. Thanks for your help.
Addendum: You can use the Steinberg Library Manager program (as mentioned by Richard above) after default install, to move things around, so it still knows where they are. (You might already know this but if you didn’t, it might explain what might of happened previously.)
