missing mixer fader for VSTi's

I’ve searched for other reports for this problem with no luck. Has anyone else hit on this bug? When I add an instrument and player and assign it to a VSTi (Vienna Ensemble or Kontakt 5 instrument) all seems to be working right. The instrument plays back as it should but there’s no corresponding fader in the mixer. All input is appreciated.

IIRC that is a known situation that popped up in version 2.1.
It has been fixed in version 2.1.01, out today.
