Missing Plugin in Cubase 15.06

Hi. I have updated to 15.06, and suddenley I have lost my main plugin, the Garritan Grand piano. Also it seems that the possiblity to enter an adress in the plugin information page is missing, where you could enter a path to it. I have reinstalled the plugin, very large. No result. Is there a way to resolve this? (When I use the plus sign in plugininformation site, at the bottom of page, Cubase just shuts down, even in empty arrangement?)

Is this a VST2 plugin? Have you checked that VST2 support is still enabled in the plugin manager?

But VST2 is not officially supported anymore, so it is advisable to install the VST3 version.

Check if the plugin isn’t in the block list of the plugin manager. If yes, try to re-enable it.

It’s VST3.

VST3 should only be in default location so there is no path to set. Did you install to VST3 folder? Otherwise you need to check if it’s on the blocklist as already suggested.

As another poster has put, check the plugin shows in the default vst3 plugin folder on your machine and not in a sub folder in the vst3 folder.

That is not a problem, you can have sub folders in the vst3 default folder as you like. Cubase scans that folder recursively.

Some plugins used to fail that way as I had that problem and solution in earlier versions, so presumably it has been fixed with searching vst3 sub folders. I’ll retest folder use to strike that one off my machine tidy workflow list.
