Mix Console and instrument icon.

Hi,

I’m hoping someone has a quick answer to this issue.
On my mix console where the “e” icon is, there is an instrument icon.

I click on the instrument icon and then the icon changes to “e” and it either opens or closes the corresponding instrument.
I then have to click again on the “e” to open the larger view of the channel.
To clarify this is happen on my mix console not my channels on the project window where he “e” and instrument icons are separate.

If in the project window I click on the instrument icon it then appears on the mix console on the corresponding channel. Click it again and the instrument closes and the “e” appears.

Its a bit frustrating to have to go to the project window every time I want to edit the channel without opening or closing the instrument GUI.

That button on the mixconsole has a dual function. Click and hold down the “e” button to toggle it and see if that will help you.

Thank you very much. Yes I did notice it does two things, opens the instrument or the channel. From your reply I gather it’s a feature and not a bug.
