Mixed Time Signatures

I’m struggling with the Bass Solo time signatures in the attached example. The first two bars for instruments are in 7/4, bar 3 is in 9/4 and bar 4 is in 3/2.

I’ve been able to adjust the time signatures but now need to delete the 9/4 time signature and bar line between “brothers” and “these”.

All of the information I’ve been able to find allows for the hiding of the time signature and bar line but it affects all of the staves. Is there any way to limit the “hiding” to, in this case, the Bass solo line?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

A couple of nifty techniques are key to making this work:

  • “Local” (i.e., independent) time signatures, entered by opt/alt - enter rather than simply enter
  • Aggregate time signatures entered with the “|” (vertical “pipe”): shift + M 4/4|3/4|2/4 together with Properties Panel > Combine compatible aggregates.

Here’s what I entered:

Nifty techniques indeed - works like a charm! I can’t thank you enough.
