Mixer inserts slots visibility

(A) Sometimes when I open command/control 4 the mixer in the bottom panel has insert slots for processing such as reverb.

[I can’t show this Screen Shot because I reduced the Dorico window in size, the Inserts bit disappeared and now won’t come back]

(B) Sometimes when I open command/controlcontrol 4 the mixer in the bottom has no slots for processing reverb and I have to press F3 to bring up a second mixer which does have reverb slots. (This confuses me :upside_down_face:because I now have two mixers both of which seem to be ‘kind of active’. )

How do I get to always see the insert slots in the (A) first view? I’ve clicked and right clicked all over the place without any effect.

You need to drag the lower zone up to make it larger. Click and drag at the split between the lower zone and the score.
(I find this inconvenient, so usually just keep the separate mixer open)

Thank you for your quick reply. I had tried dragging, but obviously had not dragged in the right place.
