Hi all,
I’m trying to work on my balance, but I’ve noticed for some reason that all the instruments on one instance of Sine player seem to be routed to the mixer fader for the first instrument in the instance. I have all my woodwind, brass, and percussion on separate instances of Sine, an instance of Kontakt for a few instruments out of my OT collection, and then each of the 5 string parts on their own Sine instance (so I have access to multiple libraries of articulations). I’m getting all the right sounds out, but the tracks aren’t behaving correctly in the mixer.
For example, if I play the piece I’m writing, I get no output on the mixer for horns 2-6, the 3 trumpets, the 3 trombones, or the tuba. I have one single channel with output that’s all on horn number 1. I can adjust the volume of brass as a whole, but not of each instrument.
I don’t see anything in the setup where I can control the routing. When I click on the channel dropdown in track inspector, I see what is supposed to be the correct fader.
Does this mean I’m going to have to run an instance of Sine for every single instrument line in my composition? That’s gonna be like… 48 instances of Sine…
