I know it’s very niche, but if anyone uses shape notes, you might find this modified version of Bravura useful. I named the file “Aiken” because when you modify an OFL font, you’re supposed to change the name, but I guess a user can change it back to Bravura themselves (hopefully that’s not a breach of any licensing).
I modified these shapes in response to feedback I got from clients who have sung shape notes their whole lives and didn’t think the noteheads were quite right. Basically I just modified fa and re so they show a small gap in these two instances:
This matches the design of most shape-note hymnals I’m seeing. I also slightly reduced the bottom curvature of the re so when it falls on a space, it isn’t mistaken for a regular notehead:
