Hey there! I managed to create my own template using the ensemble build in Dorico, but now I’m having trouble figuring out how to delete or modify some ensembles that I created by mistake.
I did find the “ensembles.xml” file in C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Dorico4, but I was wondering if there’s an easier way to do it within the Dorico software itself.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much.
I’m afraid that at present there’s no way to edit or remove custom ensembles once you’ve made them from within the software. They are saved in the userlibrary.xml file, which you’ll find in %APPDATA%\Steinberg\Dorico 4. If you’re careful and know your way around a text editor, you should be able to at least remove your custom ensemble by editing this file manually. If you can’t do it yourself, you can zip up and attach the userlibrary.xml file here, and let me know which ensemble you want to be rid of, and I’ll do it for you.

Thank you for your help! I followed your instructions and was able to successfully delete the custom ensemble. Your guidance about the userlibrary.xml file was very clear, Thanks again!
