Modulate plug-in parameter with envelope follower?

Is it possible to modulate a plug-in parameter with an envelope follower on another track?

If your envelope follower outputs MIDI and the plugin parameter you wish to control accepts MIDI CC, it can be done by using a MIDI loop back driver such as loopMIDI for example.
