mono in/stereo out (like amplitube) not working

I just did a clean install.

I do not remember how to solve the issue of using amp sims like amplitube with a mono in and the stereo effects to work (was working fine before) and the manual either doesn’t understand what I’m searching for or doesn’t have it (way too vague). Please help.

Use a stereo channel with mono input.

It’s a bit of work going from everything automatically working to setting it all back up.
