Issue
- Map your interface inputs / outputs.
- Save the mappings as a template in the Audio Connections for both inputs / outputs.
- In my case, for Inputs I have 32-mono first and 16-stereo second. I have Mono 1 set as the default input.
- For outputs, I also have 32-mono first and 16-stereo second. I have Stereo 1 set as the default output.
- Close Cubase.
- Reopen Cubase.
- Make sure your audio device is selected.
- Stereo 1 appears at the top of both input / output lists.
- This makes the MixConsole and and input / output routing lists out of order.
Workaround
- In Audio Connections, delete the stereo 1 connection at the top of the list.
- Readd the template for your interface.
- It should now reflect the correct ordering.
