Rather than fancy new tools I just want more consistency with the tools already available.
Example 1 : Allow the Line tool to be used for ALL types of automation in the project window (i.e that currently isn’t allowed for automation values where an Insert effect is being turned on/off) The Pencil tool is the last thing I ever want to use to draw automation.
Example 2 : Range tool currently can’t be used inside of clips/events. This is especially relevant since Cubase now has Midi curves. Range selection is needed here to copy/paste our edited curves. Range selection tool is always my prefered method to quickly select regions for looping. This would be very handy to also have inside of the clip.
