More harp glissando options planned?

I finished today engraving the John Williams’ E.T. “Flying Theme” full score (preparing for score analysis) and as well known, John Williams is using often ad lib. glissandi, which are notated with ascending and descending lines with no notes attached. I don’t think this is possible right now in Dorico, but is something like this planned? Maybe by giving them multiple segments as with slurs in Engrave mode?

For the time being you could add notes at the extremes of each segment of the glissando, hide their stems in Engrave mode and then scale them to 1%, which should make them effectively invisible.

That’s a good idea, it will make them also play back correctly. Not sure if that would be possible when using segments. Thanks for the suggestion.
