It seems once I have more than five instruments routed in an instance, the audio of the sixth (and any higher) gets sent to the correct channel but also somewhere else.
If I mute the instrument’s channel in the Dorico mixer (e.g. the tambourine, which is on channel 6 in Kontakt), it is still audible even though no other channels are registering the audio. The only way to stop it is to mute the master output in the Dorico mixer or mute the channel in Kontakt.
If I reroute the tambourine in Kontakt to an earlier channel (e.g. to the tam-tam on channel 5), the audio gets sent to the tam-tam instrument channel in Dorico and can be adjusted normally.
This happens with all my Kontakt instances.
Suggestions? Does anyone else have this issue? Is there any way a project can help?
Thanks for the suggestion but they’re all set to the correct MIDI channel.
Besides, the other Kontakt channels aren’t playing back when the tambourine is playing; the tambourine is playing back on the tambourine channel in the Dorico but is also somehow being sent (I’m guessing) to the main output.
