In the old forum we could see the name of the thread starter. In this forum in “See 1 new or updated topic” (whatever that is supposed to mean) . We can only see their icon. Names are better. I have not committed every persons icon to memory
If you hover over the icon the tooltip shows the full name.
That is totally impractical. Before one could simply scan the page and see all thread starters, now we have to move the mouse over a tiny icon and wait approx one second for each name to pop up? Hardly an improvement. Please bring the names back, it gives the community a sense of identity.
