Motherboard/Processor question. Building PC

Will build a pc myseslf for the first time. Cant find a prebuilt one that i want. Spent a couple of weeks checking things i normally dont.

Finally arrived at a stage where i think i know what things match. It would help me very much to know if there are objections or suggestions to the combination below . I`m choosing between two motherboards. I have this notion that i should avoid pure gameboards. I don´t want a million of options that i dont need.

ASUS PRIME H470-PLUS
LGA1200, ATX, H470, DDR4, 2x M.2

ASUS PRIME Z490-P
LGA1200, ATX, Z490, DDR4, 2x M.2

Intel Core i5-10400
Socket-LGA1200, 6-Core, 12-Thread, 2.9/4.3GHz, Comet Lake

HyperX Fury DDR4 2666MHz 16GB

Kingston A2000 500GB NVMe M.2 SSD

Corsair RM650x 650W PSU

Corsair Carbide 275R Midi Tower Vit

Hello,

Both motherboards are a good option, but for a few more money, I will choose ASUS PRIME Z490-P.

I think it will work better.

It’s only my personal opinion.

Regards.

Thanks! I kept checking info. Someone suggested as you that i should add the extra money and buy the 490 and also a 10600 and ended up buying them . Got them today and im looking forward to start working with assembling the machine. Just waiting for the fan which gives me more time to read manuals and look at instructions videos  Nice to have yet someone else verifying the choice.
