To reproduce the bug:
- Open click pattern editor.
- Increase clicks to 12 or more per bar.
- Try editing right side dots.
Issue; dots edited does not align with mouse pointer…
My system: Windows 11. Cubase Pro 13.2
To reproduce the bug:
Yep here we are Cubase 15, trying to add a click pattern for a 12/8th signature. Horrible increasing mouse offset still (@dev easy to fix it seems ). I wonder whether it is even worth reporting these things anymore. Nothing seems to be given priority in this area anyways. Other UI clumsiness piling up and reported, some items 8 years old. Nothing happens. Lost engagement a bit.
I reported this multiple times.
Musician: “Can you just remove the last click in the bar?“
Me: “No problem“ and then sitting there for half a minute like a complete beginner.
I can confirm, the bug remained unfixed in Cubase 15.0.10.
A suggestion for a workaround for the time being (hopefully not for too long):
Set left and right locators and open
Project > Signature Track > Render Audio (or MIDI) Click Between Loacators.
Afterwards, you can delete or move unwanted clicks in the audio event and copy the pattern. It’s still just a more or less inconvenient workaround, that’s for sure.
