Well, this is just like 35 years ago when cubase entered windows 3.11

When moving the mouse in cubase 12 , there is serious interruptions in the audio, everything seems to stall, while the audio still plays

I have never personally experienced this issue, not now nor 35 years ago. I haven’t seen anyone else reporting this issue either. My first thought is to check that your gfx card drivers are up to date.
Can you post your system specs?

I raised the buffers to 256 and it solved the issue, so maybe I was a bit hasty, but I’m on alert after the plugin issues with Cubase 12 Pro

When cubase was released for windows 3.11 years ago I had the same issue
Moving the mouse stalled everything
