On Cubase 5, you can hold the middle mouse button (the mouse wheel) and the cursor turns into a scrolling-hand which can be used to scroll horizontally on the mix console.
I wish Cubase 8 was more like Cubase 5. Right now, the “Channel Rack” is the only location where holding the mouse wheel turns the pointer into a scrolling hand, and it only scrolls vertically. The whole Mix Console should support the scrolling hand and horizontal scrolling.
On Cubase 8, when I hold the middle mouse button, I often change the levels on the faders because clicking the mouse wheel now moves the faders. Who would want to change a fader by clicking the mouse wheel? Please disable the middle mouse wheel click from adjusting faders and support horizontal scrolling of the Mix Console.
