Is it possible to move an event exactly to the end position of the previous by hitting a key command?

i think not, but configure in the grid-option-menu in the Tool-Bar, the grid to snapping on events. then move your focused event to the left, in the direction to the previous one.
Might see if you could put together a macro, maybe there’s a way to string commands like these together:
Select previous event > cursor to end of event > select next event > event to cursor.
