Please help. Just purchased new Mac and try to move all installed Steinberg libraries to SSD.
But got this message. All Steinberg programs closed
Did you give SLM access to the removable media? Make sure in your MacOS security settings that you’ve given the library manager the right permissions for the destination drive.
I was move from windows. Can you please explain where I can change this?
Oh, then it may be the file format of the external disk. You’ll add the Library Manager app to Full Disk Access. Note that it should already work, but depending on if you’ve got a new install or upgraded OS, etc the settings may not be inherited. So you could test by adding Library Manager as an app to Full Disk Access (and then turn it back off):
That said, is the external disk already formatted from Windows? You can’t write to an NTFS volume by defaut on MacOS (but you can read). You’d probably want to reformat it APFS from the Mac if so (after copying what you want from it).
