Moving content to another drive

What installer did you run then?

I never got an option to select what and/or where to install. Hmmm?

I moved all my contents to another drive and using symblinks. Search Google and find out how to move files and folder and drop symbolic links.
Works fine for me.

Just the standard macOS installer under Sierra 10.12.6
It didn’t immediately give me the option. I chose to install it to a drive that didn’t have enough space (my OS drive). It complained about lack of space and then gave me the option to customise the install locations for the various components as per previous cubase version installs.

If it’s for the download, just emptied that space to another drive first and move it back after your download is finished. I know it’s not pretty, but doable.

If it’s for the installing the content, please have a look on this: Can this helps you ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JB_coW-1hoA

There is a tool that now comes with Cubase to relocate content called the Steinberg Library Manager.

Use that.
