I’m trying to move my cubase elements 10.5 from a windows desktop to a macbook since I am going to travel. I also want to use the Halion vst. However I couldn’t figure out how to do it. It seems like some of the guides have been deleted for some reason, I can’t access them. How can I use it on my macbook? Can I use it on two computers? Looking forward for your help.

Cubase Elements 10.5 was using the old eLicenser technology, which is not in use anymore. Also, the eLicenser server has been down since May 2025. You have to buy the update to the current Cubase Elements 15.
It wasn’t possible to use Cubase with the Soft-eLicenser on multiple computers. With the new licensing system, you can use Cubase on up to 3 computers.
